Switch House Opening
To build excitement around the launch of the Tate’s new extension the Switch House, we helped the iconic gallery cover London with a series of 4 sheet and 48 sheet posters. To coincide with the opening of its new building, the Tate invited design studios from across the globe to submit a pitch for a possible identity redesign, the chosen concept was unveiled in the poster creative. The amazing, 10-storey pyramid building, allows 60 per cent more artworks from its collection to be displayed. It also offers 360-degree views of London from a roof terrace while a sculptural tree by Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei takes centre stage on the bridge that connects the original building with the extension.
