National gallery approached Jack Arts to promote it’s ‘Soundscapes’ exhibition, which commissions musicians and sound artists to select a painting from the collection and compose a new piece of music or sound art in response. Immersive and site-specific, the experience encourages visitors to ‘hear’ the paintings and ‘see’ the sound. To help spread the word, we used our owned sites to put up 4 sheet posters throughout London, with a heavy focus on the east. Due to the exhibition’s association with music, we further amplified the campaign with posters at Lovebox and Citadel to get the exhibition in front of thousands of music fans.
