Strut London is a contemporary designer clothing company founded in Hackney, London. They approached JACK after spotting our recent campaign for Rag & Bone, to provide an outdoor solution that would drive awareness and talkability about the brand relaunch.
The impactful campaign creative is a collaborative effort from Strut London, photographer James Ari King, art director William Lynch plus Nina Walbecq and Curtly Thomas who styled the shoot. Housed on our large format outdoor space in close proximity to the new archive space. We carefully timed everything to coincide with the relaunch event (on tonight) where Neneh Cherry and popular NTS DJ’s Bahamian Moor will be playing.
Strut London has amassed a circle of fans and friends within the fashion industry and is one of the most respected sources of contemporary clothing in London, to some best kept a secret. It has an extensive collection of hard to find pieces by Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garcons, Issey Miyake, Ann Demeulemeester, JW Anderson, Meadham Kirchoff, Moschino, Versace and Kenzo to name a few. Many of them are sold in one of three shops in Hackney, two on Church Street and one off Broadway Market. The rarest and most significant become part of the archive, which is made up of 2000+ items now housed at Strut London’s new archive space.
