Studio 54 was more than a nightclub. It was a hotbed of 70’s hedonism that symbolised an entire era, and contributed to the dawn of a new kind of New York society. Everyone who was anyone would hang out there – and everyone else in the city wanted to get in.

A new documentary released last week in the UK aims to shed some new light on the ins and outs of the most exclusive and notorious club in history. Told through the words of it’s infamous founders and co-owners, Ian Schrager and Steve Rubell, the documentary tells the real story behind the rise and fall of the iconic venue.

To celebrate it’s release, we teamed up with Dogwoof to spread the word on the streets that Studio 54 was coming to the big screen.  A large scale 4 sheet campaign brought the dazzle and the darkness of the club to key sites across London.
